My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Milton. I am a super handsome kitty in need of a special home. My brother Jackson and I came to the rescue as tiny kittens. We were born in late March 2016. We tested positive for FeLV, which is a virus that has no cure and is contagious to other cats. We can live long, normal, healthy lives. We just can't be around kitties that do not have FeLV. I am a super affectionate and friendly cat. I love people. I love being petted. I always use a litterbox like a good boy. Other than this virus, I am very healthy, happy and playful. I like kitty toys and playing with my brother Jackson. Because our situation is so special, the Rescue is waiving the adoption fee for me and my brother. Our only goal is to find a safe, caring home with someone to love for life. Please help us find a loving fur-ever home! Adoption fee: WAIVED. Adopt a pair: FEE WAIVED. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
