Annabelle lost a back leg after being hit by a car. Her other back leg is still healing. She is slowly starting to use it but she still needs to be carried up steps and lifted to get on the couch.
She's very loving & snuggly with her foster dad. She doesn't mind the other animals but she gets a bit territorial when they get in her space.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle, a Los Angeles Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
