Mo's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Mo's Story...
Mo is a six month old Pointing Giffon/Lab Mix. He has been neutered, had most puppy shots, and his rabies shot. He is a big sweet boy. These guys have had a rough life. They were listed as pups with us for a while then ended up in the pound...?... He is very scared but is super friendly. Mo is especially sweet and loves to get a chin scratch when he is really close to your face. He wags his tail and sits very still. He will be at the ARFanage until we find a foster home or permanent home. He will be a very smart dog with the needed LOVE and training. He is rather skidish and has not had enough nice human contact. Are you there for MO? Call the ARF line for more info 337-332-4756. Curly left today 5/26/05 for adoption through labs4rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mo, a Lafayette Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Wirehaired Pointing Griffon/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
