Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet and Greet pending!
Meet Goldie! She is traveling to Wisconsin on November 13th! She is 32 pounds and under 1 year old.
Here is what her foster mom has to say:
Goldie was rescued from the Harris County Shelter and was very frightened of people when she first came home. She was a stray according to the shelter It took a few days but she has come out of her shell. She is currently being fostered w/ Rosie another dog pulled from Harris County Shelter as her time was up the day I went to help Rosie. She was in the next kennel and her and Rosie are pretty good buddies. They are constantly playing together. She is sweet, loving and loves affection. Loves to chase squirrels, walks well on a leash and will start a 2 week obedience training program on Monday October 24th. I’m hopeful she will excel as I was able to teach her to sit fairly quickly. She weighs 32lbs and looks like a miniature version of a lab/golden retriever. She loves playing with Rosie and my lab at times though my lab’s size overwhelms her a bit but my lab is gentle with her and Goldie loves to steal all the toys from everyone. She needs a home full of fun and love as I don’t think she every been given much human affection until recently.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet.
Please note that preference will be given to Wisconsin adoptions, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.00.
