This twin set of double goodness is anything but double trouble. Their foster mom says these two are genuinely sweet affectionate dogs that will soften your heart with their big brown eyes and ability to climb in your lap at the same time just to be close to you. They are puppies but not overly energetic, they seem to prefer attention over energetic playtime with littermates. Chives will patiently sit and wait while you figure out where you want to sit down then quietly come up for attention. Call or motion for Chervil and he’ll be right over too. These two seem to be bonded and are so good together that we want them to be adopted together. Once you see how sweet these little two puppies are together you’ll know why these two little brothers need each other. Chervil & Chives are two of the 'Spice Litter Pups' and were rescued as part of our "Clear the Shelter Campaign" when Dolly's Legacy rescued every animal from a rural Oklahoma shelter, all whom were slated to be killed. They were born approximately 8-8-16. There are 11 pups in this litter and appear to have multiple fathers as there is quite a difference among the pups in appearance; we do not know their breeds as we do not know who the dad(s) are or who mom is. Chervil & Chives appear to be English Pointer mixes. We do not know how big they will grow to be. We do our best to determine the breed(s) they most closely resemble for posting purposes. The Spice Pups were flown to our rescue from Oklahoma by rescue pilots through Pilots N Paws and are ready to start the next chapter in their lives with families of their own.
Chives is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $400 per pup, or for the dynamic duo of Chervil & Chives there is a reduced sibling adoption fee of $650. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved.
