Squeak was rescued from a local kill shelter where she had been brought in as a "stray." She caught her future foster mom's attention when she first came in because she was so friendly and doing everything within her power to get attention - rubbing on the cage bars and sticking her paw out the cage door. After seeing how sweet and friendly she was, she was tagged for rescue but not brought into FFAR's foster/adoption program until her five-day stray hold was up. As is so often the case, five days is just long enough to catch whatever nasty virus is going through the shelter and that's what happened to Squeak. She caught a nasty kitty cold and lost quite a bit of weight, but this didn't last long and she is now healthy and happy and ready for her forever home. Squeak is a young cat, not over a year old, and gets along with kids, cats and dogs. She has stunning classic tabby markings reminiscent of an exotic breed. Squeak has a round adorable face with emerald green eyes - she is an incredibly cute little cat. If your forever home could use some sweet Squeak in it, fill out an application and adopt her today.
