Hi, my name is Lilly! My owner dropped my sisters and me off at the animal shelter. I am part boxer and not sure what else. Chewy's Hope saved me and I was placed with my Foster Mom who loves me very much. When they saved me I was very thin and not trusting of humans. My Foster Mom gave me love and patience and now I have blossomed into a happy puppy with a bubbly personality. I get along with other dogs and even cats. I love kids, young or older. I have been told I am extremely smart, because I learn tricks in just minutes! I would love to show you my neat tricks! I am also house trained and crate trained. I am eager to please people that love me and very thankful. I am looking for a family that may have another dog to play with and kids would be great too! Love, Lilly.

About Chewy's Hope

About Our Rescue Group...

Chewy’s Hope Rescue is a Non-Profit Organization, with 501(c)(3) status, that is concentrated on saving the lives of adoptable Texas shelter dogs, specifically Wise County Shelter dogs.

Our goal is to save death row dogs of all sizes and all breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes in the state of Texas and to work with other Rescue Organizations nationwide to accomplish our goals. We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, nonprofit dog rescue organization based in Boyd, TX. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events/expos.

We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering.

Chewy’s Hope Rescue is not taking public found strays or owner surrenders at this time. We do offer assistance with networking resources. At this time we feel that our services and skills will be best applied if we prioritize the rescue of dogs on death row.
