My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace
2 ½ year old, Male, Brown Spotted/Rosetted Bengal

Courtesy Post: Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Ace is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his current owners in Pleasanton, CA.

Well, look at what we have here. A young, handsome Bengal boy by the name of Ace. When he was about 11 months, he found his way to the front door of his current owner’s home. He was hungry and thirsty and needed a place to chill. They took him to their vet for shots and they found a microchip in him. The family tried to notify Ace’s original owner by letter and phone, but they never heard back from anyone. Since Ace was now in their care, they also had him neutered.

The family didn’t plan on having a Bengal in their home. They weren’t even really familiar with the breed. They have an older female cat (15 years) that Ace used to pounce on because, in his Bengal mind, that’s what other cats are for – play time! Smart Bengal that he is, he eventually figured out to leave her alone – no fun trying to pounce on a surly kitty who hisses at you.

Ace is a typical Bengal. He has a strong purrsonality, is active, playful, curious, adventurous, and very smart. He is vocal when he wants some food or when he wants to be let out. He loves attention, and really enjoys being around people. He follows his current owner around just like a dog – so I guess you can think of him as a kitty dog.

His current family is planning on traveling a lot. They know they can’t provide Ace with the care and attention he needs to be a happy kitty. They contacted our organization to help find a loving home.
Ace’s ideal home is with someone who is familiar with Bengals and who absolutely loves the breed. He would very much benefit from a catio or a fully enclosed, Bengal-safe backyard. Bengals are also great cats for leash training, which would be another great way for him to enjoy some fresh air.

If you would like more information about Ace, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or loveallcats7@gmail.com or send an Adoption Application.
Please note that Ace is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his current owners in Pleasanton, CA while being placed in his new home.
