Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Take a look at this beautiful dog! Roxie is a 2 year old Pointer mix. As beautiful as she is on the outside, her heart is what is so special about her. Roxie is about 55 lbs, very playful and full of life. She craves love and just wants to be with her humans. She is completely house trained and knows several commands. Roxie will run with you, chase a ball, or just curl up by your side. She's a big cuddle bug and will climb up in your lap if you let her.
Roxie is a strong and lively girl. She's great with humans of all sizes but sometimes, she forgets her size when she's excited. For this reason, we feel that she's best as an only dog or with dogs of the same size. With a little leash work, we believe Roxie would be a great running or walking partner. We KNOW that she's a fantastic companion are YOU Roxie's Hero? Please visit Herorescue.org/adopt to submit an application for Roxie.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt.
