His best friend, Bentley, a sliver Siamese, is also looking for a foster home or forever home!

You can e-mail us at for an adoption application or call our adoption coordinator, Robin, at 352-339-3352 for more information about our adoption process and our adoptable animals.

We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive.

All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jengo, a Putnam Hall American Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bobtail for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a American Bobtail cat from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bobtail breeders who help with American Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
