Despite being new to life inside a home, Hudson is housebroken! He’s basically crate trained too – he’ll whine a little bit when first going in, but he quiets down quickly. He’s never been around cats but he currently lives with another dog. Him and his 4-legged roommate get along great! When they go on walks and pass other dogs, Hudson gets excited and whines a little with the occasional bark. If he sees a squirrel, he taps into his prey drive, but ultimately he’s a clumsy youngster. With a little more work on his leash walking manners and people skills, Hudson will shape up to be quite the catch in no time!
Hudson has been taking trips to the dog park and absolutely LOVES making new friends! He is a social butterfly and constantly greeting new people and dogs at the park. When new people come to greet him, he does very well and enjoys receiving their attention! But as far as new objects and experiences, it takes a couple times of getting his feet wet before he feels comfortable and realizes it’s ok. For the most part, Hudson is a pretty laid back dog. With a couple of short walks and play sessions, he requires what you would expect your typical dog to need for exercise. Though he thoroughly enjoys attention and has proven to be an affectionate pup, he is also good at entertaining himself. Toys will keep him entertained for day! He turns into quite the goofball.
Who doesn’t need a handsome, sweet, young man in their life?! Hudson can be yours if you hurry and adopt him today!
To ensure our dogs are placed in a safe environment, we require a home visit for all adoptions. Because of this, we typically only adopt to homes within 30 minutes of Athens, GA. If you are further away than that and are interested in one of our pups, please still fill out an application and we can discuss your options. Please understand that you would be responsible for all transportation - meeting the dog, picking the dog up to start a trial, returning the dog should he/she not be a good fit, etc. Please visit our website for more info.
