Maddy’s rescuer/caretaker found this little, adorable kitty on the rescueme website. Since the caretaker loves little Persians, she felt compelled to rescue this little kitty girl. Maddy was given up by her original owner because of inappropriate litterbox behavior.
Did you know that litterbox issues are one of the most common reasons why people give up their cats or even mistreat them? Did you also know that there is often a simple solution that helps the kitty become litterbox perfect again? In Maddy’s case, all it took was switching her to unscented litter and voila! she does her business where she is supposed to.
Her caretaker tells us that Maddy has lots of personality. She is as sweet as you’d expect from this typically very loving, human-bonded breed. She is also a very sociable little kitty. When Maddy smells human food, she actually comes running…hard to believe since she only weighs about 6 lbs. (and I assume that is with her lovely fur).
Maddy is fine with the other Persian kitties in her caretaker’s home. Her caretaker doesn’t know how she would be with young children.
Her caretaker apologizes for the lack of great pictures. The last picture is actually not Maddy, but the similarities of that kitty with Maddy are striking according to her caretaker, so we decided to include it in the bio.
Maddy has been fully vetted and is up-to-date with vaccinations.
