"Ranger" is a handsome 9-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who arrived at the HSOV on October 12, 2016 along with his companion "Bear" (who is a Shepherd mix) after a Good Samaritan found them on State Route 550 near Pinehurst in the Marietta Ohio area. Both "Ranger" and "Bear" were wearing collars with their names written on them, but unfortunately there was neither a dog tag nor an id tag (or phone number) on the collars to enable us to locate their owner.
"Ranger" has a black short smooth coat with a small white patch on his chest, rather short legs, a long tail, and a noble-looking face with a dusting of white on his muzzle and on his eyebrows. He has beautiful brown eyes and large floppy ears
"Ranger" is very bonded with his best friend "Bear", and they are sharing a large area in our shelter so that they can remain together. "Ranger" does not appear to do well with cats or small children :( Our kennel techs would be happy to introduce you to "Ranger & Bear" (they always insist on being together).
"Ranger" weighs 61.2 lbs. He has already been neutered and has been given rabies vaccine.
