Travels is a four year old Brown Tiger Tabby who loves to snuggle on your chest and wants to lay on your side while you nap. He loves to have his chin scratched and will always try to kiss your face. Travels loves to have his head kissed and likes to play tag. He’s sometimes shy with strangers but gets used to new people fairly quickly. You might find Travels hiding under the covers of your bed if he's not close by. He sometimes gives a silly meow or a playful swat if he is annoyed. He is gentle and quiet and a 'zen' cat. Travels is very bonded to his sister, Huntley and they need to be adopted as a pair. To meet Travels and Huntley, contact: Trevor Perrin iemailtrevor@gmail.com or 310.804.8954

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Travels, a Sherman Oaks Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
