Pippa's Story...
Meet and greet pending on December 4th (Wisconsin arrival)

My name is Pippa! I'm a spunky lil' gal with a lot of fun and love packed into this gorgeous dark chocolate coat my foster mom says I have. I was found about a month after I'd been hit by a car and left for dead. I showed them! I love to run and play with my foster brothers and sisters, and I especially love nighttime cuddles and kisses. I'm learning lots of new things every day, and I'm super-smart! I even have a "smart bump" on my head like other smart dogs do! I would love a special family to call my own. I love little kids, big kids, and even grown-ups, so that makes me extra great! Can we meet sometime? I'd love to show you just how special I am.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippa, a Fort Atkinson Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
