Basil's Story...
Meet Basil! Basil is a high energy, 20 pound, 1 year old male wire haired terrier mix- he doesn't shed. Basil loves to play fetch and run! His favorite things on earth are balls and squeaking toys. He doesn't destroy toys- just loves to play with them. Due to Basil's very high energy, he does not like to be crated for long periods (though at night, he snuggles in and sleeps well). He likes to ride in the car and loves exploring the back yard. Basil is working on potty training and learning to use a dog door. Basil was originally found as a stray and is learning to trust people. He requires patience and firm handling. Basil likes affection on his terms and can be snappy when he feels overwhelmed. Because of this, Basil would do best in a home with no small children. He is microchipped, up to date on shots, and neutered. Basil If you would like to meet Basil, please text his foster mom at (702)366-6391. There is an adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Basil, a Las Vegas Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
