Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Falkor, Young Male, 15 pounds, Richmond VA
FALKOR IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND VA AREA. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FALKOR, PLEASE GO TO WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG AND COMPLETE AN APPLICATION.
This is Falkor. He is a chocolate and white standard dachshund/bichon frise mix, 6-8 months old. He weighs about 15 pounds. Falkor is a gentle soul who adores children and playing with foster siblings. He loves toys of any kind and being outside playing. He is nervous when meeting new people but warms up quickly. For naps, he enjoys either laying beside his foster family or under his foster mom's feet. He is the definition of a "Velcro dog", constantly following from room to room.
He is crate trained and 90% housebroken (he is so young so accidents do happen occasionally.) He would be best suited for a family with children and a yard to play in. Apartment life would not be adequate for this fun loving guy. He is not a fan of horses so he would not make a good companion for those interested in having a doggy companion at the barn.
If you are looking for a playful, Velcro, cuddle-muffin – go to www.momsrescueva.org to see if we could be a match!
