Facts about Baily

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 26582
  • Hair: Long
Baily is a beautiful 8 year old long-haired boy that really has had a tough time of it. He was surrendered to us by an owner who no longer had time to care for him, and it showed. While Baily was well fed, to the point of obesity in fact, his grooming needs were not tended to and this poor boy was a matted mess when he arrived. So much so that our medical department quickly shaved him to get him more comfortable, and help him to start over. Baily had some trouble getting around when he arrived, most likely due to his weight problem, but with a good diet, exercise, and plenty of attention from his caretaker, Baily is already down 6 pounds and getting around great again. He will need to continue with his diet routine in a new home but he is doing so well and is eager to get on with his life. Baily is a lovable and mushy sort of guy that is friendly, sweet, and vocal too. He lets you know when he's looking for you and doesn't ask for much, just some attention from time to time. He seems fine with other cats and just loves people. He is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a great family that will love and care for him forever. File#26582 8/21/16
