Linus's Story...
Sweet Linus got a second chance after a kind person saw him abandoned outside with a large open wound on his face . She knew he needed more help than she could give and called FOWA for help . When he was brought to the vet, they guessed him to be about 4 years old. They also noticed a part of his face near his mouth was missing. What or who could have done this we will never know but, we knew we could change his future and give him a chance to heal and to be loved . He quickly worked his magic on his care givers and made it clear that he would be much happier as an indoor cat. He is a beautiful Maine Coon with a gorgeous long coat and white bib. So now Linus is part of the FOWA family as he patiently waits to be part of yours ....... Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus, a Wayne Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
