Sweet Linus got a second chance after a kind person saw him abandoned outside .. She quickly gained his trust and begin feeding him she saw a large open wound on his face . She knew he needed more than she could give and called FOWA for help . When he was brought to the vet they guessed him to be about 4 years old , they also noticed a part of his face near his mouth was missing .. What or who could of done this we will never know but we knew we could change his future and give him a chance to heal and to be loved . He quickly worked his magic on his care givers and made it clear that he would be much happier as an indoor cat. He is a beautiful Mackeral tabby with medium length hair. FOWA Rescue is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) (nonprofit) rescue organization based in Wayne, NJ serving the North Jersey area, dedicated to the welfare, sheltering and placement of homeless animals. We are committed to educating the public about the humane treatment of animals, preventing animal cruelty and overpopulation and promoting animal welfare.

To end euthanasia of adoptable animals so one day, no healthy companion animal will be euthanized for lack of a home, space, or compassion.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees vary, but in general dog adoption fees are $200 and up and cat fees are $100.00. These fees cover all medical costs such as routine shots, microchipping and spay/neutering as well fostering.

To qualify you must be over 18 and approved in the adoption process.
