Yukie's Story...
"Yukie" is a cute 9-year old female Beagle who was surrendered by her owner on November 10, 2016. This little sweetie has a tricolor short smooth coat, rather short legs, a long tail, and an adorable face with a nice smile and large floppy ears, "Yukie" has a friendly, outgoing personality and dearly loves attention. She showed her playful, fun-loving side of her personality while she had her glamour photos taken, and she was flashing a winning smile for the camera :) "Yukie" is good with older children (10-years of age or older). She has not been with other animals in her previous home, but we noticed that she totally ignored our shelter cats when she walked by their towers in our lobby. "Yuki" has been kept indoors. She is 'pleasingly plump' and currently weighs 29.2 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yukie, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
