Venus's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Venus's Story...
Venus was one of 30 dogs I brought in from a Louisiana shelter to make room for the flood dogs. Venus was literally dumped at a dump and a neighbor fed her for about three weeks there before calling the local humane association. She is gorgeous! We brought her to Nashville and know she's going to find a great home! She's house-trained. SHe's great with other dogs and kids. She's very playful and fun. She's about 35 pounds and should be fully grown. She looks mostly boxer if not full blood. Come meet Miss Venus!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus, a Goodlettsville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Goodlettsville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Goodlettsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goodlettsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goodlettsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goodlettsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
