Kane's Story...
Kane is a striking snowy white two year old Turkish Van with Orange Tabby crown on his head and tail. He was found living in a dangerous area where there were coyotes, bobcats and a mountain lion and he survived, so his name is Celtic for 'warrior." He's now safe and sound and enjoying the creature comforts of indoor living! He's very happy and calm and loving human attention. He loves to play with the other cats in the cattery. Come meet this amazing boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Sherman Oaks Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
