I am THE best tail wagger around. I am so happy to be with people I just have to show it. I am the happiest when I'm in your lap. I ignored the cats and dogs at the vet and didn't mind my nails being trimmed.
Before I came to DREAM, I ate a lot! I weigh 17.6 lbs. and the doc says I need to lose about 4lbs. My foster mom put me on a diet and added exercise, which will have me in my super svelte shape in no time. I would love a home where we can go on adventures together. You know, like walks in the park, car rides and stuff.
I just joined the DREAM family and I am showing them all of my wonderful attributes. I know they will let you know all about me as they get to know more about my super personality.
I overheard my foster mom say I have to go to the dentist in three weeks. Not my favorite thing but my pearly whites will be dazzling! I also have to have a cyst removed from the top of my head. Nothing to worry about though. Doc says it be a routine procedure.
I am sooo excited to meet my forever family. I promise I will love my family forever and make them the happiest human's on earth!
If you are interested in adopting Mason, you can fill out an application right on our website! Go to dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml . Mason 's adoption fee is $400.00. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Mason will go to his new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.
DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
Hello new family! As you can see by my profile my name is Mason and they say I am a handsome, short haired red boy. I am an adult so no puppy tendencies for me. I have been eating a lot and my DREAM foster mom is putting me on a diet. Good food and a lot of exercise will have me in my super svelte shape in no time.
