When Jax's owners in Arkansas were moving they packed up all their belongings and drove away, leaving Jax on the streets to wander around on his own. Jax was completely bewildered as to why he was left behind . . . . and so was the kind person into whose yard he ended up. They quickly fell in love with him and tried in vain to track down his owner, but it was clear they had vanished. Jax is sweet as can be and LOVES people. He's playful in a very kind way with people of all ages and with other dogs, and he loves to be right where everyone else is! He rides well in the car, he walks very well on the leash and he'd love to sit in your lap if he's invited. We're not sure of his true mix so if you're looking for a "hypo-allergenic" dog, all we can promise is that he won't be allergic to
you! He probably has some terrier in him, which probably means that he will have his share of antics and think he's smarter than you at times (he might be right!) but he will be the most grateful and entertaining little companion. He's being fostered in a home with kids and has charmed everyone. Jax is a young adult between 2 - 3 years old, he's healthy and at just about 16 pounds he's a great size for a best friend!
