Rocky Mountain's Story...
Hello everyone, I’m Rocky Mountain – but you can call me Rocky. I’m the adventuresome one of the mountain range kitties. I love to explore new things and meet new people. Of course I also like to play because, let’s face it, that’s what we kittens do. When I’m not exploring or playing, I also like to cuddle. If you’ll let me, I will curl up next to you and groom your face and even lick your nose. It’s my way of giving little kitty kisses! If you would like to meet me, come to Helping PAWS. Once you do, I’ll bet that you will want me to come and explore your house and make it my forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky Mountain, a Washburn Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Washburn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Washburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
