Tenley's Story...

This sweet 4 month old 5 lb Maltipoo is one of our PARVO survivors. It's faces like her's that make every dollar spent worth it!

Tenley was discarded at the shelter, and as we've mentioned time and time again, the shelter can not keep PARVO dogs due to their contagious nature. PARVO is expensive to treat so the shelter has no other choice but to euthanize these dogs that come in - that is unless a rescue comes forward.

Lovebugs Rescue saved Tenley, and provided her with the treatment she needed to fight off this deadly virus. And look at her today, all fresh and pretty from the groomer!

Tenley is playful with the other dogs in her foster home and very affectionate. She's working on her house training skills and leash skills, but right now she's all PUPPY.

If you'd like to meet Tenley, please first complete our adoption application at Her adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccines up to date, deworming, registered microchip and plenty of kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tenley, a Irvine Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
