Sam is the sweetest boy! This easy going guy is looking for an easy going home that will take him on lots of walks and hiking trips. Jogging will be ok, too. He is a little under 2yrs old and weighs about 50lbs. He's about the size of a bull terrier but is a bit jowly and has the adorable boxer ears. He gets along wonderful with other dogs and should have another playmate in the home. He's also ok with the kitties! Sam gets nervous when large items are being carried or swung around (such as brooms or ladders) so it appears he may have been knocked a bit by those in his previous home. When carrying anything of this type, he will duck and flinch. With calm movements and desensitizing activities, he's learning that these items will never threaten or hurt him again. But because of this current insecurity, he must go to an adult only home. He really is a very gentle, cuddly kind of guy and will be a great companion dog for just the right home. He must have a fenced yard.
