Facts about Basil

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tan Or Fawn Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: Basil
  • Hair: Short
Sweet BASIL has the sweetest, little "mew" and immediately begins kneading the floor, with his front paws, as soon as you're near. He was recently rescued from a dumpster at a DVD Factory, where a kind woman heard his cries. He immediately climbed in to her arms and began to purr and rub his face on her chin. This boy is a complete LOVE MONKEY and will probably be an excellent lap cat. His tail's usually in the upright position and he even flops over for belly rubs!

Basil will be lonely without another friendly kitten or cat around. He's been combo-tested (negative), micro chipped, neutered, de-wormed, the works! Meet, BASIL, and fall in L-O-V-E ! ! !

About 2TheResQ

About Our Shelter...

We are a small rescue located in the San Fernando Valley focusing, primarily, on cats and kittens. We rescue most of the animals through trapping in our local communities, some times even chasing down strays, or pulling from our City and County shelters. Our adoptable pets live with us in our home or in foster homes. Fosters are always needed. Please consider becoming one today?

You can meet the animals & adopters on Face book by going to "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (which is a public page). There you will find rescues in progress and update photos and videos. Feel free to browse through the many albums. I believe in full disclosure & rely on the support of volunteers, donors, and like-minded, rescuers. We also partner with other 501C3 Non profit rescues.

Additionally, we support and practice TNR (Trap, Nueter, Release) of community cats although one of our main missions is to find the adoptable ones, good, loving homes.

One person really CAN make a difference. Join us there & find out!

Come Meet Our Pets...

All our adoptable pets are featured on Petfinder.com. I also create fun & entertaining videos on each animals, host them on YouTube & post ads on Craigslist; under the Pets section.

It's important to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering, fostering, & adopting. I also enjoy teaching others how to humanely trap stray & feral cats.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application, signed agreement, home check, & $90 adoption fee apply.
