Foxy's Story...
Foxy is a tiny little 3 1/2 lb pom who was rescued from a puppy mill. We were told that she was a yr old but our vet said she is probably 3 yrs old. We had her spayed, a dental done, socialized her and are working on housebreaking. Foxy was frightened when she first came in but has adjusted quickly and is walking on a leash and going potty outside. She is crate trained and loves being held. Foxy is jealous of other dog's she is too small to hurt them but she will growl and show her teeth at them so we would like a home with no other dogs or a very small dog. No children under the age of 16 because of her small size. Foxy is a very pretty fawn color.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Freedom Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Freedom, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Freedom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freedom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freedom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freedom paves the way for another one to be saved.
