Henry's Story...
Henry is a very sweet little 10 lb doxie/beagle mix with a wonderful temperament. He look's like a long hair doxie but has a little bit of a beagle look to his face. He is a tiny boy who enjoys the company of other dog's, is good with cat's, great with older children. No small children due to his tiny size. Henry is about 8 months old, neutered, utd on his shots. He might need some work with housebreaking since he is still a puppy but he is eager to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Freedom Dachshund/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Freedom, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Freedom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freedom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freedom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freedom paves the way for another one to be saved.
