Ben is a quiet, gentle soul that just wants to chill on the couch. He still needs some TLC from severe flea infestation with caused him to lose most of his hair. He will be back to normal in no time and of course beauty is only skin deep. This boy is great from the inside out. He is house trained, knows a doggy door, quiet and gets along with all sizes of dogs male and female. He was dumped like trash out in the country with Lil Red. He deserves a furever home all his own. Will it be yours?  Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a San Antonio Cairn Terrier/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Cattle Dog for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
