Zelda's Story...
Meet 9 year old Grandma Zelda! This feisty woman is the Betty White of dogs. He uses her teeth to move exercise pens around, jumps for joy, and loves to play with toys. This little lady was left at the shelter with her babies - she looks like she was used for ample backyard breeding. Her foster has helped her lose weight and turn into a lovebug. Zelda is perfect for a senior that loves to walk or pretty much any family! Most dogs like her live to 15-18 so she has a lot of year ahead.

The rescue took care of her inguinal hernia, dew claws, double canines, alter, all vaccines, and microchip.

Her adoption fee is $50 to ensure she goes to a fabulous home. We hope you share or help find her a home as she is goofy and will make you smile and give you a ton of companionship!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a Phoenix Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
