My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mick (Mickey) was found in the country and was brought to EARS by a kind Good Samaritan. His foster mom fell instantly in love with his sweet disposition and adorable face. His foster brothers and sisters quickly took to him and love to run around the yard and play chase and tackle. Mickey is fond of his feline roommates although they are not always fond of him. No worries though cause everyone else loves Mickey! He is a wonderful young, happy, energetic, and intelligent dog. He is eager to please and will do extremely well with training. He is about a year old and weighs about 25 pounds. Mickey has no aggression towards humans and would do well with any kind of family. He enjoys walks and being a part of things. If you are looking for a lovable dog that will complement your life and family, look no further. Come meet Mickey. You will not be disappointed.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
