Cocoa's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cocoa's Story...
Hello, I am Cocoa, a very quiet, 13 year old lady with good manners. I enjoy sleeping on your lap and having my chin scratched, but not my back or the top of my head. I am quite small, right around 4 pounds, and very delicate, but that doesn't stop me from getting up on the bed or the couch. I am being fostered in Louisbille, KY. I am a 4-paw declaw and I need a soft litter that won't hurt my feet. I will get along with other cats as long as they are also quiet, and won't bully me. I would do best in a house with with no small children or rowdy dogs. If interested in adopting me and giving me my furever, loving home, email the rescue at ccrescue614@yahoo.com for an adoption applicatiion. One of our volunteers will send you one ASAP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Columbus Burmese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Burmese for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Burmese cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Burmese breeders who help with Burmese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
