Milo's Story...
Milo is an adorable two year old Orange Tiger Tabby with a baby face and lots or long white whiskers. He is very loving and purrs constantly. Milo is a playful boy and loves playing with balls that make noise and mouse toys with strings. He has only one eye (which gives him partial vision), but he gets around so well that no one would know he is visually impaired. Milo does everything that other cats do and has no problems getting up onto your bed or chair to relax with you. He is ultra friendly and good with everyone including other cats and dogs. Milo loves sitting on people's laps and cuddling.. He also loves to cuddle under shirts or bed covers. This outgoing boy was rescued on his last day at the shelter and is waiting to start his new life with a family. If you are looking for a special buddy, call to meet Milo!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Sherman Oaks Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
