Two of us rescue girls were at the shelter and we met Patches. We couldn't stop thinking and talking about that poor blind kitty at the shelter. Thanksgiving week, we decided to pull her and bring her into our rescue. The shelter vet told us that her eyes were most likely a birth defect and that we did not have to worry about infection or a virus being spread to our other fur kids.
Patches sweet, affectionate, loving attitude make up for the bad eyes. When God allow Patches to be created, I guess He decided to do a TRUE mix. She has patches of orange tabby, tortie, white, and most any other combo of colors!
This is a wonderful young ...approx one to a year and half years old. She is loving, fun, and VERY affectionate. I think she can see shadows. She can get around without bumping into things. She likes toys with bells or sounds. She is interesting to watch as she discovers new things like cat nip and cat kickers.
We are looking for a perfect, forever home match for this awesome kitty.
