Sadie's Story...
Sweet Sadie is a darling 1 1/2 year old Beagle/Retriever mix who is ready and waiting for her forever new family! She is a great sized dog, only around 35lbs or so. She can still go for a decent walk/run, but is small enough to curl up on the couch with you! She is good with other dogs and likes to play, it just takes her awhile to get used to more energetic ones. She needs to be a primarily inside dog, as she gets lonely and bored if left outside too long and will try to find a way out. Sadie has been great with the staff and all her visitors of all ages! She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Benbrook Beagle/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Beagle/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
