Molly's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Molly's Story...
When we rescued this girl and her sister from the high kill shelter in rural South Carolina, she was in bad shape; emaciated, dirty and so unsure about the world. Now in foster with a wonderful family (including children) and a dozen or so other dogs, Molly is flourishing. All cleaned up with weight on and healthy, Molly is learning the better side of life. She seems to be about six months old and weighs 26lbs. We are guessing she will be about 45ish lbs when she is full grown. She is still a little shy but with love, encouragement and a home of her own we know Molly will make a wonderful new member of your family. If you would like to show Molly how grand life can be in your forever home, your first step is to copy and paste this link to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Molly has been spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. Full vetting and transport up north is included in her $450 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Westport Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Westport, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
