Hi, I'm Toby. I was born July 7, 2016. I am a very handsome, neutered male kitty in need of a home and someone to love for life. I am friendly, affectionate and very playful. I am a GREAT snuggler who loves attention. I like to cuddle and purr, but I am the very best at catching the Cat Dancer toy. In fact, I'm better than any of the other kittens here in my foster home. I've got skills, baby. I get along great with all the other cats here and I like to wrestle with them, too. I also like to pounce on the adult cats' tails when they aren't looking. I've gotten used to the dog here in my foster care home, but we are not besties yet. Of course, I use the litter box like a good little boy. I am a bit shy with strangers, but once we know each other, I am your best buddy. A few things to consider ... I am a cat's cat, so if you're looking for a playmate or buddy for your existing kitty, I am your man. Just know that when other kitties are around, humans turn into chopped liver. I am all about the cat. If I am the only kitty in your home, you will have my full attention and affection. I have everything I need except my very own home! I prefer a quieter home without a lot of loud noises and chaos, maybe it could be yours? Please give me a chance! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday of each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).

Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).

Saturday, April 8: Adoption Event at
Suburban Subaru, 1821 Maplelawn Dr, Troy. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., come meet adoptable pets at the Suburban Subaru dealership in Troy (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at the event). Meet some amazing cats and dogs, then test drive a cool new car.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
