Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Belle's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Belle's Story...
Belle & Jingo are 5 years old, weigh 4lbs & 4.9lbs respectively and are a bonded pair. They were turned into the shelter by their previous owner when they became too ill to care for them.

They are both fixed, had dentals, UTD on shots and on HW preventative.

They are shy at first and Belle can be nippy if pushed but once they get to know you, they are just wonderful little dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Durham Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Durham, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Durham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Durham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Durham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Durham paves the way for another one to be saved.
