Hi, my name is Sampson and I am a beautiful 1 yo American Pit bull Terrier. I am around 45 lbs and may get a little bit bigger as I fill out, but I am pretty much done growing. I am up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. I am also currently in obedience class to learn. I am great with other dogs, cats and probably children (although I haven't met any yet but I always wag my tail whenever anyone comes up to me). I love to play with tennis balls but I do destroy them in 2 seconds. I have two balls that I love and have yet to tear into at all. I love to cuddle with you on the couch or bed and always love having a paw on my person. I will follow you through the house, in general I just like to be with people! I come with a collar, gentle leader, leash, crate, bed for crate and all my toys ( I am very spoiled but deserve it). I am fairly high energy so would be good in a home with a yard to run in and/or kids/another dog to play with. I am crate trained, house broken, and don't chew as long as I have a Nyla bone or favorite ball (comes with me) to chew on. If you would like to meet me please go to pawspetadoption.org and fill out an application. Thanks!

About Pet Adoption and Wellness Services (PAWS)

About Our Rescue Group...

Pet Adoption and Wellness Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and trainers, we are able to rescue animals, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully-screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Our Adoption Process...

We required those interested in adopting a dog or cat to fill out our online Pet Adoption Application and Agreement, which is on our website at www.pawspetadoption.org. Our Board of Directors will review your application and get back to you asap. If your application is approved, we will arrange a meeting with you and the adoptable pet. If the pet appears to be a good fit for your family, we may visit your home to ensure that the environment is suitable for that particular pet. We also require a $200 adoption fee for most dogs, $75 for Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas and $25 for cats, along with a signed contract indicating that you will properly care for the adopted pet and return him/her to us if it doesn't work out for any reason.
