Jasmine's Story...
Jasmine is a beautiful little 6 month old spaniel mix that is hoping for a wonderful home of her own real soon. She had a home, but when her was overwhelmed by life, Jasmine just had to go. Poor Jasmine was quite scared at first, but once she realized she was in a good, safe place, she calmed down, perked up, and is now happy to make new friends and optimistic about a brand new home. Jasmine is still a bit shy when she first meets people but once she knows you, she turns into a real puppy that is your best friend. She is super sweet and lovable, and she's polite and well behaved. Jasmine has the spunk and curiosity of a puppy and loves to check out everything while outside for a walk. She was mesmerized by the sight of one of our resident peacocks and could hardly contain her excitement while passing by other dogs. She gets along great with other dogs. Jasmine would love a home where she will get lots of playtime and exercise. She's a growing puppy that needs lots of love and attention. If you can give Jasmine that happy home she's dreaming of, come on in and meet her. File#26863 11/27/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Forked River Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
