This shy tiny 3yo Chihuahua boy is a total sweetheart, once he gets to know you! Seems he had a rough life until now, but he's such a good boy. So adorable and those EARS!!! Good with other dogs and cats too. A home with older kids would be best, as he is a bit hand-shy at times. He is house broken, crate trained, and he also knows how to use wee wee pads. He is neutered, HW negative, microchipped, vaccinated and comes with 30 days of pet insurance.
Chance was brought in as a stray to the city shelter, initially believed to have been hit by a car. He was minutes from being euthanized when 2 of our volunteers saw him and scooped him up! We just had to give him a "chance" (hence his name). He had multiple fractures of his jaw and our Vet believes this is from being hit hard with a pipe or bat type object. Chance was immediately taken into surgery to repair his jaw and has recuperated well!
