My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Donatello, “Given by God” I love to explore and play with my litter-mates. Foster mommy tells me that I have an amazing silky black coat that looks like a tuxedo with white striping on my chest and paws. Sometimes, I am quite a “ham!” In fact, my tails wags soo much and soo fast, you would think that I was going to propel off the ground like a helicopter! Hey that's OK because I would love to explore with you!

Now that I'm 13 weeks, foster mommy says my personality is really coming out! I just love spending time with foster mommy and daddy! I love even more to give them kisses and can be trusted to sleep in their bed without any accidents! I just love to please my humans and am a great listener! Foster mommy and I love to play dress up too!

Please read our Standards for Adoption, the Beagle Camp Diaries and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog who will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
