Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey everyone! I'm Moose, just a big 'ol handsome dude who loves to cuddle and play. Do I look familiar? I was a BREW beagle three whole years ago until I was adopted by a really nice family. They had two kids that I used to play with and sneak cheerios from (don't tell anyone, okay?) and they made me so happy. Unfortunately for me, they decided three years later that they didn't have time for two kids and jobs and two dogs anymore, so they called BREW back and my original foster mom brought me back here. I was pretty sad at first to leave what I thought was my forever family, but now I know that my real forever family is still out there. After I got re-settled in here at my foster home, my playful side came out and BOY do I love to play! I get everyone in the house going around in circles and foster mom says it looks like I'm on a racetrack that only I know about because I'm zooming down the hall and through all the rooms and around furniture faster and faster until I just poop out. I wouldn't say I'm high-energy, except for my bursts of activity I'm a pretty laid back dude. Right now I'm dictating this to foster mom from the papasan chair behind her computer chair, in fact. I'm not sleeping though...just, um...resting my eyes. I also love to play and run outside, and I am one of those rare beagles who will actually fetch a toy and bring it back! I am really good with dogs of all ages and sizes, and even cats too. Most of all though, I love being near foster mom and dad so, so much. I can "sit", and I'm completely housetrained all day long. I don't even need to be in my crate anymore when foster mom and dad leave. My only naughty habit is paper shredding. If you leave an envelope on the floor, beware. I like to try to sneak in when foster mom is working at her computer desk to see if I can find any stray papers on the floor. If I do, I will stealthily grab it, turn, and slowwwwly walk out so as not to be noticed. This usually works, although I can't contain the noise once I get out of the room and start my paper shredding bonanza. When foster mom gives me The Look, I just fan my ears out to the sides and look up at her with my big beautiful brown eyes, maybe give her a kiss, and it's all forgotten. It totally works every time. Shoot! Did I say that out loud? Foster mom wasn't supposed to know that! Well, I better go and double up on the handsome so she'll forget all about it. Please let BREW know today if you need a Moose in your heart and home!
