My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edith is, in the words of her foster mommy, “an itty bitty pitty” weighing in at 32 pounds. She’s the picture of calm sweetness in the house and an excellent canine playmate outdoors. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and ages, and she has been friendly and sweet with the children she has met. She’s only 4 years young, so although the potentially hectic, puppy phase is in her past, her playful, affectionate nature and joyful wigglyness is still intact. She’s house trained and crate trained and will walk on a leash, but foster mom says that due to the fact that she’s not the least bit destructive in the house, she gives her free roam of the place when no one is home. She’s a quiet girl, and foster mom says she doesn’t think she’s heard Edith make a peep. She does love to sleep and snuggle, but she will also trot around the house with her ball or play and wrestle with the other dogs in the house. She’s done very well at the dog park, and we think she will make someone very happy! Foster mom says, “She is a wiggle butt, loves to be peted and snuggled. One ear up, one ear down most of the time but they do have independent swivel motion should the need arise to be extra watchful. She is petite, sweet and loving. Even though I hated her name at the beginning it totally fits her. She loves the dog park and all dogs, loves to chase and be chased. She is affectionate and incredibly loving. Loves to sleep under the blankets and is a great hot water bottle.” Sounds like a good companion, don’t you think?
