My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Milly, and I'm a beautiful, demure Bombay/ black DSH mix gal who was born in June 2016. I have the typical Bombay mix's sleek, black patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes.
As you can see from the photo of my lounging on my back, I have become very trusting and relaxed now that I have acclimated to my foster home. When I first arrived, I was extremely shy and would run away when my foster mom tried to hold me, but now I relish the attention!
Even though I am a reserved gal, I'm no couch potato! I like to wrestle with the other kittens my age in my foster home. I was the only female of my litter mates, but I had no trouble keeping up with those rambunctious dudes. However, I'm not fond of dogs. When I'm all tuckered out from playing, I love to curl up on a nice soft bed and dream of my forever home.
My siblings and I were in pretty bad shape when a Good Samaritan found us in an abandoned shed. However, as you can see, because of my foster mom's TLC, we have become healthy and stunning kittens.
As much as I like my foster home, I am ready for my lifetime home of my very own. I'm sure that after you watch the attached YouTube video that appeared on Animal Planet or Google 'Cats 101 Bombay,' who will want to scramble down to meet me.
Please don't be superstitious of black cats! Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have previously had a black or Bombay mix cat end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced.
Milly is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Milly, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.
First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.
