Heath came to us in pretty rough shape, but after some TLC, you’d never guess this gorgeous, friendly, loveable creature had ever had a bad day! Heath, who foster mom says is as sweet as his name, is a lab mix who is roughly 40 pounds and between 8-10 months old. He’s house trained and crate trained, but he needs some leash work. He sits and comes to his name, and foster mom says he hasn’t met a dog or person he doesn’t love. Foster mom doesn’t have children, but she brings all her dogs to the dog park regularly, and she says that Heath is great with the kids he sees there. She says he’s not nippy and he is a quiet boy at home. He might whine for a minute in his crate, but he settles down quickly and rests. Heath loves to snuggle and cuddle, and we think he’d do well in a home with other dogs or in a home with plenty of human affection. Foster mom says that Heath has been wonderfully well behaved in the home. He loves to carry his toys around, and he settles down to rest quickly when he is tired out. He has a wonderful enthusiasm for life, according to foster mom, and she enjoys his joyful, affectionate greetings –and kisses every morning and when she returns from work. Heath—sweet as they come!
