Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
Sugar is a very beautiful, extremely gentle and sweet, cuddly and fun, nine-month-old, female Tortoiseshell/Maine Coon-mix with magnificent amber eyes looking for a loving guardian.

Sugar is loving and playful with people, other cats and fine with gentle dogs. She’s even fantastic with rabbits! She comes running to you when you walk in the door and loves to snuggle with visitors!

Sugar is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative. She has all her claws and would like to keep it that way. She also has excellent litter box habits.

Her adoption fee of $125 benefits rescued pets. To meet and possibly adopt Sugar, please e-mail Sheri at petraits@interaccess.com for an adoption application and follow up by calling 773-777-2891. She is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
