My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you would like more information about ChouChou (pronounced shoo-shoo) or are interested in adopting her and her brother, Balzac, please send an email to jan.hester@att.net or contact this number, 713-398-4779

ChouChou and her brother Balzac must stay together. I’m helping a friend find homes for them. It’s a long story, but suffice it to say this has been a painful decision for her.

I rescued these two in 2004 when they were about two weeks old. I had taken in a nursing mother and her litter two weeks earlier, so I took a chance and threw them into the mix. It worked.

ChouChou is sweet, demure, mannerly and quiet, with a long, silky coat. She is definitely the quieter of the two. Both cats are very well socialized, friendly and adore each other. This doesn’t mean there are no conflicts. They are, after all, cats, and there is the occasional tussle. Both would be perfect in a quiet home with no other pets. They would probably do well with a calm dog, but I wouldn’t place them with young children.

Please call me if you would like to meet them or just ask me some questions.
